Other ways to say "Welcome aboard" or a welcome message?
Everytime my student organization has a new member I need to send a welcome tweet. Being new to twitter myself, I kind of lack the creativity to say other welcome message besides "@joedoe, welcome aboard" or 'Send a warm welcome to @janedoe." Sugestions, please?

One thing that you need to remember... To you, using "Welcome aboard" might seem terribly repetitive, but for the new members, it is the first time they've heard it. You might use "welcome aboard" on a hundred people, but unless they bother to compare notes, they'll never know that you use the same greeting on everyone.

My wife has been a professional birthday party clown for 37 years. She attends thousands of kid birthday parties and has been doing virtually the same routine for most of those gigs. People have only one 5th birthday (for example) in their lives so they might only see this clown routine once in their entire lives. Occasionally, she has been called back to certain family parties for other birthdays or for sibling birthdays or whatever. She usually does the same show and the kids are thrilled each time they see it.

For you, saying "welcome aboard" might seem to be a worn out welcome message, but for those new members, it's new to them.
