How do you deactivate a Twitter account permanently?
A friend of mine has a twitter account and can't figure out how to deactivate it, anybody have a clue?

Log in to your Twitter account.
Select "Settings" in the top right corner.
Select "Deactivate My Account" at the bottom of the page, below the "Save" button.
Enter your password to verify deactivation.
