Well to get followers you need to follow people. You also need to promote your new account. I mean how else do you expect anyone to know about it. Also, your tweets need to be good. they need to relate to what your topic is. People don't like a lot of those tweets saying follow him cause he is so funny. Another way is, find someone who seems to have a whole bunch of followers. Go and direct message them and ask them for a shout out and tell them what your twitter account is all about. Follow these and i assure you that you will have thousands of followers. Remember to be patient. And also work hard for what you want.
