I need to convince my parents. Help?

I'm getting a new phone soon, the Samsung Galaxy S III. My parents are very nonchalant about many things, but for some reason they're crazy about me getting internet. They're convinced something bad will happen, like I'll get raped, because I have internet on my phone... I know insane right? They've watched too many tv shows, and they are not up to date at all. I give them no reason not to trust me, im a relatively good daughter. I use facebook, twitter, tumblr all the time. Yes I'm like the typical teenager. I really want internet but they're on the edge of deciding whether or not to let me. Here are my reasons.

- I Say: Having an awesome phone without internet sucks because its limits the phone so much. half the features will be limited.
-They Say: You'll have internet at home, through wifi. No big deal.

-I Say: I'll start driving soon, and having internet will enable GPS and that will be really helpful.
-They Say: You'll always be with us (because I have my permit)- they have internet on their phones, so I can use their GPS- or at least I'll be with someone who does have internet.

-I Say: Teachers allow us to use internet on our phones in school. We can look up words, or topics
-They Say: What is it that hard to stand up and get a dictionary

So I know I'm making it sound like they are set on not getting me internet, but they're actually on the edge. I just need a good argument. That being said, how can I convince my parents that I need internet? The guilt trip might work. I dont even know what to add. Sorry that this is so long. If you have any ideas, let me know! Thanks!!
I'm almost 16. And not only did my plan end (so I need a new phone), the phone is on sale right now, its my christmas present, my current phone is a G2, it has served me well but it is in a horrible condition right now (like its touch screen is horrible and it calls and texts people), so this is for the person down there thats pretty much calling me spoiled. This is the present that I asked for, and luckily this is something they can afford, so dont worry about that. Please answer the question, not give your opinion to how im "spoiled"
** Hahah sorry, more details. They have absolutely no problem with getting me the phone. They're deciding whether or not I'll have *internet* with the phone.

Psh. Don't ever use the term 'GPS' for car, you'd get shot, they be like "oh yoou be textin and drivin?!" Haha
The thing is, make them feel sorry for themselfs by golly if you want it so much!
Be like "hey, mom, dad, look I'm only your child once, and one day I'm gonna be on my own. And all I could really ask for is to get a SGX3, (talk about the good things you'll do with the phone, then conclude with) the point is, I would do the same for my child, look inside your heart and see if you can do the same for yours."

u have to buy a data plan to have internet, no way around it, how old are u, this is a frill phone, u dont need it. just be happy you get any phone, lose it, drop it, wow mom and dad are out alot of money and ya it costs to get insurance, and even that, you pay to use the insurance. we get that kind of phone when we are on our own and pay our own bills.

I am with your parents on this one.You have the internet at home and do not need it on the phone.The phone should be for emergency calls only.
