She hasn't replied, now what?
There's this girl i like, i've liked her for years but never really spoken to her despite the fact that our families are really close and she comes over quite often. I finally found the courage to start a conversation through a direct message on Twitter, i would text her but haven't got her number. I just said Hey with a "x", it's been 24 hours and i've had no response, i know she's been online because she's been sending tweets since i messaged her, she might just be ignoring me and not be interested but, like i said, our families are really close so i don't think she would just blank me, maybe she hasn't seen the message i don't know. She was tweeting about how she doesn't like being single and how she doesn't think she's good enough for anyone, I think she's gorgeous and i thought this was my opportunity but she doesn't seem to want to talk to me i don't get it. I think she might like me because i catch her looking at me every time she comes over and she's always really quiet around me but really chatty around everyone else. So what do i do? If she doesn't want to talk i don't want to send her another message and annoy her, If she just hasn't got around to reading her messages i don't want to send another one and seem clingy but at the same time i don't want to just leave it because i really like her. She tweeted about how she's lonely and is worried about being alone forever so she's obviously looking for someone, i want to sweep her off her feet and make those bad feelings go away but she seems to be ignoring me, i just want to chat to see if she's interested or not. I could wait for her to come over then we can speak in person but i don't know when that will be, not knowing if she's going to reply or not is killing me. Please someone advise me on what to do!

Do something that will occupy your mind and take some time to complete. This will help you forget about it and then you can wait to see her in person. Be like "Hey I sent that message online awhile back...you ever see it"? Smile and say it like its whatever...dont come off as clingy or desperate WOMAN HATE THAT

Hey 'with an x' doesnt exactly warrent a reply does it?
Also she is hardly going to want to start a romance by tweet. What about an email? Or visit her. Or ask around for her phone number (if your families are close someone must know her number) Try having a purpose like asking her to join you for a drink some evening or meet you in town Sat afternoon at a burger bar or whatever and take it from there.
All she knows at the moment is that you said 'Hey with an x'.

The best way to find out is to ask her yourself and tell her how you feel, that's my advice to you. Good luck.

If you like her that much gather courage and send her another message. But instead of just a "hi" you can send a joke or something that will interest her.
