Why is my friend so mean?
I'm 16, and my best friend Audrey is so moody. In the morning, I hang out with my friend Sarah and then Audrey will meet us since she's always late to school. Well we don't always hang out at the same place, so I told her to text me so she knows where I am. So she did and I told her and didn't move, and she didn't even show up, even though she gets mad when I'm not where I say I am.
Then at lunch she was quiet and kept checking her phone. After school I got my license and I told her and she got all moody and didn't seem happy for me at all. So I go on Twitter and she posts "I really need new friends." So I just asked what was wrong and she hasn't responded. What do I do?

Honestly, Audrey sounds pretty rude. It doesn't seem like you guys really did anything wrong. She was probably in a really bad mood, and your good news just made her feel worse. If she's a true friend, this will blow over soon enough. If I were you, i'd ask her what's bothering her.

Does she have many other friends apart from you? I think it may be to do with the fact that she wants to be able to hang around with someone when your not there, and just generally have different people to talk to. If the answer is yes, I'd try to introduce her to some of your friends who she doesn't know very well.

Face it she's getting bored of you, just leave her... I'm sure you can find new friends Smile and btw it could just be a phase of hers... So for now leave her alone!!!!!

text her once & say.. Audrey, i dont know whats going on between us & we need to talk now. & if she is still being moody then just completely ignore her & go on hanging out with ur usual friends & come to her sences and realize that she misses you. I wouldnt be rude or talk bad about her. Just be nice so she has nothing against you. Trust me it works!

hmm. I don't know, but she seems really mean, so I think that you should stop focusing on her and stop being friends with her. and by her even posting that on twitter, it doesn't sound like she just thinks that you did something wrong, but that she just has decided she doesn't want to be friends anymore. so if she isn't going to fix whatever's wrong and try to stay friends, I don't think you should either.

She might be experiencing her period, PMS, depression, mood swings, on medication, mania, hypomania, alcohol or drug use, loss of self-esteem, or might have been experiencing side-effects of reading twilight which would include all of the above and much much more.
