Social engineers, scientists, philosophers and other kinds of persons, specialists with a socialist ethos who could try and distribute the wealth, resources fairly and reasonably.

communist controlled economy?
kido, the whole idea behind communism is decentralization of power and returning control production and distribution to the people who do the labor to make the product.

For example:
Know those farmer's markets where people grow produce and take it and sell it?
that is a small example of communism if you would take away the government regulations governing the days they can be there.
Because they do 100% of the labor to produce the product, and control 100% of distribution of the product. They also retain 100% of the fruits of their labor for controlling 100% of production and distribution.

In other words, communism is a classless, stateless society, where the people who labor to produce the product or services controls production and distribution of them.

I am assuming you mean socialist control, in which case are referring to a social democracy.
And like any other system, a social democracy has its pros, cons and problems that are stabalized by introducing small factors from other types of systems.

China has a communist leadership and a somewhat capitalist economic system.

Distributing wealth equally is never going to happen. That's a deadbeat's wet dream.

Leaders in communist countries are just as greedy, selfish, and drunk with power as any capitalist leader. Even more so.
