College Grad: Masters in Social Work or Public Administration?
I have just graduated college with a degree in Political Science (3.22GPA). I have plenty of on campus work experience and I have just gotten accepted to the AmeriCorps for a 1 year term. I'm trying to decide which option would lead me to better opportunities for the future given how bad the economy has gotten.

I have thoroughly considered all options and they are very interesting fields.

Option #1:
My first option would be to attend graduate school to get a Masters in Social Work. With this career field, I am able to work in a variety of settings from Clinical to Administrative but of course, social work isn't a lucrative career path. I'm also afraid of burnout, but I guess I could possibly go back for a Ph.D and be a professor...

Option #2:
My second option would be to complete a Masters in Public Administration. Going this route gives me a little more room to be versatile in the job market while putting me in a better position to make more money. The course work itself well definitely be a little more challenging, as I'm not too great in finance or accounting, but I'm sure that I should be able to work through it.

Any advice?
Thanks...

Pursue option 2 as this will give you enough money to investigate other options later on. Most people change careers two to three times during their working life.
