Is 1GB of data enough for me?

I've just upgraded my contract and I am getting the Samsung Galaxy S2 tomorrow. I had unlimited data but now I have 1GB
I use twitter every day, a lot.
Check my facebook a fair amount (once a day or twice)
I will be using whatsapp (a lot)
Using Instagram
Checking emails
Browsing about once every two days

I'm on 1gb a month and I don't even use it all.

Its plenty, trust me, you'll never use all of it. You'll be surprised.

Yeah, 1 gig will be just fine (I'm assuming this is a monthly limit) but if you plan on streaming video from YouTube or something similar, or streaming music to your phone throughout the day with Spotify or SoundCloud or something similar, then I'd recommend you get a bigger plan (3 or 4 GB)

Or just switch from your mobile carrier since they obviously just want your money by not offering an unlimited data plan.

It depends on what you do with it if you download a lot of apps and games and stuff it could run out fast but if it is only normal things like internet pages it is a lot ( unless you open huge pages)

That's probably good enough. If you plan on taking a lot of pictures and downloading a lot of apps, though, I'm not too sure.. but if all you do is check Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc. you should be fine.
