how do i change my background profile image on twitter?

when i upload the jpeg in the options tab, to change the background design for my twitter profile, it doesnt show up changed, even when i save it. what can i do?

The image file size could either be too big (Over 800k) or its just a fluke.

If you have photoshop or something of the sort, bring it into the program and save it as a different name.

If not, find another source of the image and try that.

Also, you can try uploading it from a different computer.

Maybe it's the image you are trying to upload, just to check try uploading a working background from here: http://www.glosslife.com/twitter-backgrounds

Follow the instructions at the bottom of the link I gave you.

Sometimes you click the save button and don't see the changes immediately, so try refreshing twitter by opening your timeline or profile page to see if the background change was applied.
