China has the best all around system.

In the U.S. a criminal commits a serious crime against the american people and he gets arrested. He goes on trial and is provided a lawyer free of charge. The entire trial in so many cases ends up costing the american taxpayer millions of dollars. Now let's suppose the crime was murder. The man is convicted and sentenced to life imprisonment in most cases. It again costs the american taxpayer millions of dollars per criminal for every one that is convicted so that he can be incarcerated in a humane way for the rest of his life. Right now the american taxpayers can not afford to pay this cost with the financial crisis being so bad and states such as California have suggested letting convicted murderers go free in order to solve the problem. The temporary solution is to borrow more money from China to finance the same failing system until new politicians take over so they can deal with the problem.

In China a man commits murder, is tried in a trial that cost nearly nothing, is convicted, and is executed by firing squad. His family is charged for the bullet and burial.

You tell me which system of government is going to be the world superpower in the future...
I only wish that my country of America had the brains that the awesome nation of China has. If I was Chinese I would be proud. Even though their system of government is unfair in many cases to many individuals it is the best system of government for the people as a whole...and that is why they will lead the world in the next 50 years.

no Matter what system the Philippine will Adopt, it will not work as intended. Filipinos view government positions as FAMILY ENTERPRISE. It has been that way since the 1st Philippine Republic up to present and into the future. Unless you can resurrect Pres. Ramon Magsaysay who is against Nepotism.

Majority of filipinos are PATAY GUTOM majority of those patay gutims are by product of catholic universities and university of the Philippines , especially the socialite elite one good example is from central Luzon whose bread and butter is JUETENG money...equestrianne pwe!!!! Whose Glamorous mom who looks like imbalmed mannequin...

CAPITALISM but it has to be very strictly regulated.

Tax imports but reasonable.

Tax breaks for business that do profit sharing with employees.

Incentives for foreign investors who create jobs.

Invest in education for every citizen.

Socialized medical care.

Fair wages for all.

Equal opportunity without discrimination.

This is a good start.

Too many more to mention.

Mixed Market Economy.
- A mixed economy is an economic system that includes a variety of public and government control, or a mixture of capitalism and socialism.
- There is not one single definition for a mixed economy, but relevant aspects include: a degree of private economic freedom (including privately owned industry) intermingled with centralized economic planning and government regulation (which may include regulation of the market for environmental concerns, social welfare or efficiency, or state ownership and management of some of the means of production for national or social objectives).

Elements of a mixed economy
The elements of a mixed economy typically include a variety of freedoms:

* to possess means of production (farms, factories, stores, etc.)
* to participate in managerial decisions (cooperative and participatory economics)
* to travel (needed to transport all the items in commerce, to make deals in person, for workers and owners to go to where needed)
* to buy (items for personal use, for resale; buy whole enterprises to make the organization that creates wealth a form of wealth itself)
* to sell (same as buy)
* to hire (to create organizations that create wealth)
* to fire (to maintain organizations that create wealth)
* to organize (private enterprise for profit, labor unions, workers' and professional associations, non-profit groups, religions, etc.)
* to communicate (free speech, newspapers, books, advertisements, make deals, create business partners, create markets)
* to protest peacefully (marches, petitions, sue the government, make laws friendly to profit making and workers alike, remove pointless inefficiencies to maximize wealth creation)

with tax-funded, subsidized, or state-owned factors of production, infrastructure, and services:

* libraries and other information services
* roads and other transportation services
* schools and other education services
* hospitals and other health services
* banks and other financial services
* telephone, mail and other communication services
* electricity and other energy services (e.g. oil, gas)
* water systems for drinking, agriculture, and waste disposal
* subsidies to agriculture and other businesses
* government-granted monopolies to otherwise private businesses
* legal assistance

and providing some autonomy over personal finances but including involuntary spending and investments such as transfer payments and other cash benefits such as:

* welfare for the poor
* social security for the aged and infirm
* government subsidies to business
* mandatory insurance (example: automobile)

and restricted by various laws, regulations:

* environmental regulation (example: toxins in land, water, air)
* labor regulation including minimum wage laws
* consumer regulation (example: product safety)
* antitrust laws
* intellectual property laws
* incorporation laws
* protectionism
* import and export controls, such as tariffs and quotas

and taxes and fees written or enforced with manipulation of the economy in mind.

Still it is how will our NEXT PRESIDENT will manage our country.
No matter how INTELLIGENT our LEADER is, if our FELLOW COUNTRYMEN do not obey there will be NOTHING except the PESTILENCES of our Human Power on our Government.

If you fall SEVEN TIMES, stand up EIGHT ! Wink

Hi.

What about Government take-over and deportation.

All proven big time tax evaders and who practice unfair labor violation should be properly charge and immediately face the "special people courts".
The special people court should compose the jury( a group of at least 12 person) and a judge who"s job is just for formality, because the decision lies on the hand of the jury.
There will be no lawyers allowed in the court.
The jury would compose of people who represents the different organization, labor unions and different groups who were affected by the company and/or working in the company of the accused.
The accused would defend himself and plead for his innocence in front of the jury.
He should do all his effort to convince the special people court.
The jury will decide if the accused should be convicted.
And if proven guilty the judge will immediately give the proper sentences.
Either the convicted should be ask to turn over or surrender all their companies to the Philippine government and/or face a harsh punishment-- death by firing squad.
Also if he should be deported to their respective countries of origin.
(e.g. Henry Sy, Lucio Tan, Danding Cojuangco will be deported to China).

I think aside from government corruption we should also blame the greedy businessman (mostly of Chinese descent) for the kind of economy we have.

It is not the type of economic system that our government have, but it is the people who are running the government including the business sector who pressure the Philippine government to make policies and laws into their advantages.
