Question about Twitter (tweeting a picture)?
I follow someone and wanted to show them a picture. If I post the picture as a new tweet and simply put their '@twittername' will they see it as a tweet to them?

How to include a picture in your Tweet:
Begin typing a new Tweet on Twitter.com. Click on the camera icon. Locate the image you want to upload on your computer when prompted. After you select your image, your Tweet box should look like the one pictured below. You'll see the image thumbnail and the camera icon highlighted in blue. Your character count will update to include the image's shortened URL. Type your message and click "Tweet." If you selected the wrong image or no longer wish to share that image, just click the “x†control in the thumbnail or next to the filename to delete the current image. though this photo will be public but if you want it to be send it privately then you can send picture in Direct Message.
