I doubt very much that they would talk to you directly. It is possible that they already have the same idea which would be a big problem if used after hearing from you. I know that writers have to go through an agency and there may be something comparable for you but I don't know what.

My advice is to write or phone the corporate headquarters and ask what to do. Do not give them any ideas until some security is worked out.
