do you think technology is for better or worse in our society?

meaning the internet, facebook.. twitter, smart phones,texting, Xboxes playstations etc

do you think we'd be better off without them? what do you think of them being in our lives on a day to day basis? just out of interest

better it makes life easier saves lives and helps society in every way the only downside to humanity is the advanced weapons but they will be great when the human race combines and the first planetary war starts

Both, it all comes down to the end user, people as a whole have become lazy. And i would love to get out of the communication system for a few weeks so i can relax and have no-one contact me.

Everyone is in such a rush these days, they want everything now, both in physical lives and digital lives. I wish people would slow down.

i think technology is very useful in today, because we can do a lot of things that before we couldn't do. for example we can hear our friends who lives very far from us.

Obviously we are better off with technology, and no technology is good or bad, it's how its applied that counts.

in one sense its great, questions like yours are a fine of example. however we all know the problems that it causes so maybe the question is whether society is ready for technology.

I think we would be fine both ways! But maybe we would be better without technology. Because if we didn't have technology, we would be advancing in some other ways. Maybe our eyesight and our bodies would be healthier because we wouldn't be on the computer/ couch all day. We would have some other ways to entertain ourselves. My grandparents didn't have technology like now and they had lots of fun doing other things. Like going to dances, going o the river, and celebrating festivals!

Like they say, everything is fine in moderation but in terms of building new technology, there is not really a way to moderate that. One argument against would be that we're delaying progression but then someone might go and do something planet of the apish and bam we all die!

For the better if its used in the correct way
Saves soo much time!
But it can also get in the way of studies for most teens. Such as facebook where a lot of drama and arguments are caused over literally nothing.... As both sides wouldnt hav the guts to say it face to face.... People hide behind screens to make others lives hell
But for work businesses it can help soo much
