What to wear to a job interview at Boston Market?
Im 16, this would be my first job interview.
Ive read that you should wear similar clothing to what they wear as uniforms but the thing is I dont know what their uniforms are....lol oops
Well I was thinking khakis with a white shirt with a black cardigan on top? Black flats?
I also have brown flats btw
Are jeans a total no-no? I have nice skinny jeans i was thinking of wearing with boots but im afraid it will look too casual?
Also should I have clean cut nails? My nails are long right now and since I would probaly work with food I feel like it would look better if I had them cut and clean lol I know im thinking too much but I really need a job.
But if anyone has suggestions please and thank you Smile

The standard interview dress code for most non corporate jobs is i.e. dress black pant or skirt (not too short), black low heels or flats, long sleeve white blouse (not sheer), black blazer or cardigan. I would trim the nails, light makeup, cover tattoes, arrive 15 minutes prior to interview, smile and shake hands when introduced and at the end of the interview.. Good Luck!!

Interview at Boston Market shared by applicant:
One manager guy who surprisingly was honest and we talked and I answered a few questions bluntly for him. He said that he was looking for a social and outgoing people who could start conversations, smile and all that jazz as Boston Market was changing their policy. So instead of training one of the existing employers, he was going to take the easy way out and hire a friendly one. When I walked in I could understand his position because the servers were like very shy and old dogs that just served the food and barely made eye contact with the people.

He asked if I could do all the outgoing things, and he told me to be honest so that we both wouldn't wasting each other's time... I told him no, I was the quiet reserved type and he realized that as I was quieter then his appearantly...

He asked "Tell me about yourself" And I responded bluntly and truthfully..

Nice position to apply to if you're outgoing, not so much for my silent type.
