Twitter, tumblr, instagram etc...difference?

What is the difference between all these things? Sorry I'm a behind in all these things
I'm only familiar with twitter where people post pics...

Twitter is a way for people to express themselves in words. Tumblr arejust pics. Instagram is twitter but with pics

Well I love social media, so I'll just explain all the ones I know.
Myspace- the outdated old "facebook"
Facebook- Profiles, posting on other people's profiles and yours, pictures, music, games, videos, pages all to share and like
Twitter- can post as much as you want, tweets are like 140 characters each which are similar to posting on your own facebook profile and others, hashtags about certain events or jokes, can tweet pics and tweet to others
Tumblr- I don't use it much, but from what I have, its blogging, posting a pic or gif with any text or story you want
Instagram- just uploading pictures, can caption them, edit them a little, comment on them and your friends
