What's a paid job that would stand out on a CV for someone who wants to go into Journalism/Marketing?

I'm 17 and am on my AS' right now. I would like to get a job that pays as well as relates to the career paths I may go into. Any ideas?

For journalism, you can start your own blog on your opinions or current events or anything. You can write articles on freelance for clients through freelancing websites.

For marketing, event organizing, door to door sales, telecalling might count.

Digital marketing is also a promising upcoming field. You can opt for an arts degree with major in digital marketing.

Being active on social media sites like facebook, twitter, youtube is also a plus for marketing job.
