Do we not rely enough on natural foods?
Do we really eat too much processed foods, or unhealthy foods which others cook for us? Are the food companies really telling us all the possible negative effects of artificial additives?

Also, do poor people who use food banks have too unhealthy diets because they receive mostly canned and processed goods? Shouldn't donors give naturally preserved foods instead?
Steak isn't unnatural. I refer to canned, packaged, processed, pre-made foods with unnatural preservatives and additives. Those are unhealthy and far too common.

The reason we tend to use more processed and pre made foods is partly economies fault.
Back in the day when every meal was made from scratch, mom was home to prepare foods that took hours.
Now, most women have to work too as it is very difficult to live on only one income. That is true here in US as well.
After working and 8-10 hour shift, plus the commute to and from the job, the kids need attention too, homework, social obligations(extra curricular activities). Who has time to make homemade anything when you can buy a premade pan, slip it into the oven and ignore it while you are helping the kids with homework or driving them to the game or what ever. There still needs to be time to do laundry, clean up the house somewhat and somewhere in there will be a husband who wants HIS share of the attention as well...and there are only 24 hours in one day and at least 8 of them should be for sleeping....
Poor people dont' have any more time than anyone else does either.

When women started to work outside the home, food production companies saw a market opening up and jumped right in. Why spend an afternoon boiling chicken bones for soup when you can buy a can of broth that is almost as good as homemade? Canned veggies and fruits replaced the home canned varieties, were safer in some respects and things just snowballed from there.

Though knowing processed foods are unhealthy,we rely on processed foods more than natural food. We know artificial ingredients of canned food or preservatives have negative effects on our body. Why? The possible answer might be that we are to much busy with life. We always don't have enough time to cook natural foods. But more appropriate answer might be that we got habituate with these easy foods. There's no hassle to cook and its time saving. We distribute all our times in so big assignments that we never get enough time for dispense on our little health!

Poor peoples who depends on food bank have no choice or option. They only think of fulling their belly with anything eatable. They are not concern of health . Food is more important to them than health. How can donors give natural foods to these people? is there any option to preserve natural foods for week or month long without preservatives?
Be practical my friend, goods of food bank comes from distant places. Without being canned or processed there's no other way to store food there.
