Is it possible to not receive an email for every twitter notification?

Hey!

1.) Go to the Twitter homepage and log in with your user name and password.
2.) Click on the "Settings" link in the upper-right toolbar
3.) Go to the "Notices" Tab at the top of the page.
4.) Uncheck the boxes next to "Email when someone starts following me" and "Email when I receive a new direct message."
5.) Hit the "Save" button at the bottom of the page to confirm the settings.

You will now no longer receive email notifications from Twitter.
