Is this a good double major and minor?

Is this a good double major and minor?
I'm planning on double-majoring in Political Science and Global Studies (also known as international studies/relations at other universities) and minoring in Russian.

I know I could work in foreign embassies or for the government, but that seems pretty competitive. Is this a good double major and minor for the job market in 4-5 years? Is it too hard to find a job in the government or for agencies with these degrees?

Thanks,

Me!

Those jobs that you are referring to are virtually non-existent and have zero demand.

A combination of those two majors would be an excellent preparation for law school, but these days going into law is more of liability than an asset. You will be taking out huge loans and employment is based on the school you went to and class standing.

The other option is that you could go into teaching. As long as you have excellent verbal skills and a command of social studies, you'll find someone looking to hire you.
