What does it mean when a guy hates you and then starts talking to you?

So this guy and I have a lot of mutual friends and we met at a party and he decided he absolutely hated me which was understandable because I was being really obnoxious that night. Anyway he's not spoken to me even if we were in the same group hanging with friends except for little indirect comments here and there. But then he randomly friended me on facebook and followed me on twitter and other social media sites and comments on my posts. He still doesn't talk to me in real life, but this just kind of weirds me out? I feel like he's planning something to like take me down. haha
