Do you like the idea of my story?

Do you like the idea of my story?
For school we have to write a full novel in 12 weeks. So this is the idea for my novel:

Lia (the main character) has fallen in love with one of her best guy friends, Alec. But there is a little problem, he is only friends with pretty girls and only goes out with pretty girls, and Lia thinking she's not pretty enough, goes with a plan to make him fall in love with her personality. She makes a fake skype, email, Facebook, twitter, Myspace, what ever she thinks of and that's what she uses to talk with him so he doesn't find out who she really is, she also sends him love letters through his locker. And at the end of the year, (or maybe in February before the Lover's dance) she reveals who she is and he can't possibly resist to go out with her because her really loved her before she did that and now he loves her even more for going into so much trouble just for him to like her.

No this isn't the story description, I don't have that done yet, its just the plot. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!!! Big Grin Much love!!! <3
Hey guys! It hasn't even been that long and I already have 5 answers! Thanks so much! And by the way, thank you for the honest opinion, for the supports, and advice, I'm new to story writing so it's nice to know people are supporting me! Big Grin
Thank you guys so much, and I know if someone else asked this they would be hating on Brittney and Olga right now because some people might see it as mean, but I find it extremely helpful so thank you all! I actually want more responses to be like those! So don't be afraid to answer truthfully! I like it when people do and I always appreciate it! Thanks again!

Yea, this is just a rough draft, I like JUST thought of it as i was typing it! But thank you sooooo much! Big Grin Big Grin Big Grin Big Grin

Do you want my honest opinion?

It sounds like some bad Disney Channel movie synopsis. It's cliche and overdone to death.

Sorry =/

Sounds very, you know, fimilar.. It happens all the time. Put a twist or two in there. Keep the person reading it hungry for more.

To be honest, it does not sound very good. It sounds all over the place and not set on straight.

Extremely cliche as well.

The whole falling for the beet friend thing is overused beyond belief and I would not read it. I myself have made the horrible mistake of attempting to read a story with a plot exactly like this, and I would not like to read one like it again. Especially with the similarities there are. Sorry.

It's cliche but it's your first work, so yeah it's good. Write it and I hope you come across a nice plot within this story while writing it.

It does not sound good. The plot is very over used and quite frankly, boring. Tweek the plot a bit. And by that, I don't mean add vampires and werewolves, I mean adding originality.
