Anyone know about the battery life of the Samsung Galaxy S3?

Can anyone tell me about how long the battery last? I use Twitter and the Internet 24/7 on my Samsung Epic and even without using it it'll die within about 5-7 hours and with use around 4-5. Around the time I get my S3 (April 1st) I will be going on my senior trip and its basically a full day plus a few hours and we won't be near chargers but I am looking into buying a portable phone charger but I still would like to know how long the battery would last because I won't be able to use the charger the hold time nor want to because it probably won't last that long. Any help?

I have an S3 and I get 10-12 hours with medium usage but I have my display brightness set to the brightest level.

The S3 display is what kills the battery the most so set it to automatic brightness or even low to get the most battery life out if it.

Other tips:

If wi-fi is not available, turn it off.

If you are on wi-fi turn off Mobile data.

Long press the Home button and select the Task Manager (the pie looking icon bottom left). Select RAM at the top then select Clear memory to kill apps running in the background.
