How do i get my youtube channel more known?

it seems that i don't have very many views for the simple fact that people don't know that my channel exists
I have an HD camera that records in 1080p
Decent topics, such as how to videos, and other random topics
What can i do to increase my views?

Now ..to increase the popularity ....try online marketing ...like post it more and more often on your FB profile...on MOST LIKED facebook pages ....etc .. Then, twitter is another option ...if you still don't find more views ...then pay some bucks at freelancing sites to get your work done ...!!

Post comments everywhere to come check it out, like twitter, Facebook, YouTube(of course), and etc. People will actually come. Trust me I know because thats how I watch different videos everyday. In fact I'll go watch your vid right now.
