Twitter Deactivation?

I want to deactivate my Twitter for more than 30 days because I feel like I'd need more time than that to come back. If I periodically reactivate and deactivate before each set of 30 days are up, will it add more time to the 30 days or will the days stack up until 30 days are reached?

In other words, will I get a new cycle of 30 days or will they be cumulative?
I have a Facebook. But I deactivated it as well. Why in the world would I get a Facebook if I want to deactivate another social networking account? Commonsense, please.
