What are the chances of a real celebrity on twitter to accept your follower request or write you back?

I just tried sending out different friend requests to real celeb twitter accounts like kim kardashian and Taylor swift and they have a check mark beside their name. That beans that those are their real accounts right? Well I chose to follow their real accounts and they haven't agreed to follow me back..what's the reason behind this? And I try messaging them and they don't message me back? I tried kim twice and she has yet to reply back to me..are they simply ignoring me and just don't want to talk to me? Or way too busy?

Most Celebrities don't follow fans. They mostly just follow people they are friends with and other celebrities
You also have to keep in mind they have thousands of followers and thousands of people tweeting them every minute

you can't exactly send 'friend requests' make sure your twitter isn't on private so they can follow you without sending you so you can confirm.
it all depends on how many people they follow and how often they tweet. yes they are their real accounts if they have the verified blue tick.
kim kardashian has over 16 million followers and only follows under 200 people. it's quite unlikely she'll respond. she's the type of celebrity that doesn't care about her fans. sorry to say this but people like them will never follow randomers even their fans as they tend to get loads of spam messages. you cant direct message them and they can't message you back if they don't follow you. they're busy people and there are more people just like you who want follows from them

people where as Justin Bieber: even if he has over 30 million followers he follows many of his fans and even complete random people(follows over 100,000). he's tweets alot too.
