Does Facebook or Twitter track your Google searches?

I have important stuff like emails and other secure things I check everyday. Does Facebook or Twitter track these searches and pages? I have both social networking sites up at all times.

Emails are a secure network. But if its gmail, google has your info. But recent reports suggest that Facebook does track browsing even after logout.
