Help with internet speeds etc?
Hey I am looking to have internet installed at our new house, we don't want a tv/phone/internet package so are looking at broadband only packages.

We are really unsure about the speed options, we will use it for internet shopping, social networking & watching tv/films so what size or package would we need?

Thanks

Well the speed availability is dependent on your area, but for quality streaming you are looking at 1Mb/s to 5Mb/s depending on the quality you are looking for, 1Mb/s for PC and Laptop standard streaming, higher for HD streaming 5Mb/s and above.

BT Option One with added unlimited any time calls...£13 per month, if you’re, like me, I use £13 on calls a month alone, so I get the Broadband, ostensibly, free....have a free chat 0800800150 sales with BT.Com
PS they also given you the Home hub3 free and that’s the market leader
