Why are teenagers so stupid and easily manipulated by the media?

Why are they being so dumbed down by Twitter, television, and music? Why is it that the only things that are important to our society is satisfying our sexual desires, stuffing our faces, smoking pot, and swearing? Why don't people focus on things that are actually important, like God, politics, family, or their career?

As a teenager myself, I think we are stupid.

Two things, high hormones and incomplete brain development. And you put the two together and you get what the current state of the world is right now. All the marketing world has to do is convince the kids to want their products and you get the parents $$. And kids wants their desires: sex, food, pot and entertainment. Its sad its true and its how business works today. Because business is amoral it has no sense of right and wrong it knows one thing and one thing only = profits.
