Not if you see your friends face to face and actually leave home to do stuff with them. I'm with you on the social networking sites.

Certainly not. I have never had any such accounts nor do I intend to. Life is much more fun doing real things with your friends rather than messing with all the cyber nonsense. I don't carry a mobile around either phone for the same reason.

You and they have different personalities online than in ordinary reality. So go ahead and delete, it just means you like the ordinary real people more than their online selves.
In my case I have a lot of "lurkers" ie people who read but never write, which at least avoids getting into an argument. Put a post, more or less what you have said here. Wait a day, then delete.

Only if you do not have a real life. If social networking is your only interaction with other people, you really need a bit of counseling.

Don't delete it. If you have these accounts it doesn't mean you have no life. I have all of these accounts, I need this cause some of my family and friends live far away. This is useful for my work too and you can also have new NICE online friends, not the creepy ones.

If you're sick of these social networking sites, then DON'T DELETE it, just DON'T CHECK or open it everyday or forever, but never delete it. Someday you might use it again.

Imagine the friends or pictures you have in there. Just leave it there, don't check nor open if you had enough of it.

So what if you have Facebook or other sites, unlike other people who spend their whole day playing farmville etc or cyberbullying someone on twitter.

If your Tumblr is still active haha Big Grin

It depends on how often you are on those networks - since you have so many little are likely to have major impact. If you are not sure then only deactivate your account, rather then delete ( at least on facebook ), or delete the smaller, least used account and only leave the main one (probably facebook?), and just use it less from then. Visit http://www.Deleteaccount.co.uk - sounds just your ticket for deleting everything.

Specifically:

http://www.deleteaccount.co.uk/Delete_ac...count.html

I don't know about tumblr.
