How do I let people know I got my real estate license?
I'm 19 yrs old and I just got my real estate license. I'm on board with a brokerage already and going through some new agent training at the moment. What would be the best way to let my circle of influence know I'm in the business? Would you suggest flyers to neighbors? Maybe send out a mass email to family and friends? Send a message on facebook? Or all the above? What did you first do when you got into the business? Any suggestions?

All those things...don't bank on any one marketing strategy. Keep them all going. Pass your business cards to everyone and anyone. They are relatively inexpensive. I would hope you could go through 1000 in a few months.

I don't know if it is legal where you are, but yard signs aka bandit signs can work. They are also pretty cheap...I pay $280 for 100 with H wire stakes. I bet you can come up with a gimmick that can get the phone ringing!

Offer your services on Craigslist.

Market to Expired listings

Direct mail postcards to the neighborhoods you are targeting for cheap.

Let everyone and anyone know what you are doing.

Wear clothes, pins, buttons that let people know what you do.

Put magnetic signs on your car, if that is allowed.

Contact frustrated landlords in the paper and on Craigslist--especially now that winter is coming...they may need your help.

Drive around your neighborhoods and write down any for rent or for sale sign by owner.

Drive around your neighborhood and look for poorly cared for properties--and research who owns them and send them a letter, knock on their door, knock on the neighbors door and see if they need help.

Always introduce yourself and tell everyone you meet what you do.

Maybe this is a silly list, but I hope it helps. Starting a new business in sales is tough sometimes.

Edit: Try answering questions on Trulia...I love asking questions on there and some of those VIP Realtors become like celebrity personalities. You can become the go to person in your area if you answer enough questions and get a following.
