i am really curious about how Facebook and Twitter get profit from users.

they don't get it from users, but there are ads that pay a lot of money to be on the website because there are so many people on it. Just look along the side of the page, and there are about seven little square ads.

They don't earn profits from the users.
They make it from advertising other busniesses along the side of the page.
