Are people confusing socialism with communism - YES they are.
To the person who said socialism does not work - has clearly never been to Canada.

Why are people suddenly afraid of social programs when they have been around throughout all of our lifetimes - It is called brainwashing.

Thats what they are told by their parents, the schools and then by the employers and the politicians.

They have no reason to think for themselves. The education system turns Americans into sheep and it is required that everyone CONFORM to society. Thats why we have PC - political correctness.
