How to begin a home business selling artwork?
I want to sell my own artwork from home, ossibly portraits and colourful painted canvases, but i need some extra advice.
I was thinking of creating a group/page on facebook promoting the artwork i want to sell and have customers pay me via paypal.
Is this a good idea? What things would i need to consider?
Okay so if facebook wouldn't guarantee me any customers, what else would?
I have no idea how to create my own website, are there any sites out there that let you list things for free to sell?

Its an idea that could work, but just using Facebook means you're relying almost completely on word of mouth for your advertising. When your business starts, the only people who will know about it are your friends and family, and you'll be relying on them to be able to spread the word to potential customers.
Its certainly not an ideal marketing strategy, as it has no gaurantee of actually finding you any customers.

Don't expect to make any money. Art is an impulse purchase best viewed personally. Few folks are making any money selling it on line.
