What is the best smart phone on the market?

I thought I wanted an iPhone, but a few people have told me to stick with an Android. I have no idea what phone to get. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Pros and cons would be great.

iPhone has a great features, great browser, great apps like Facebook, eBay, Youtube and is easy to use.
Other phones could be;
-Samsung Galaxy
-Blackberry Bold, Torch, 9360 Curve
-HTC
-Nokia Lumia and N8


I would recommend the iPhone out of the lot though.

The best phone on the us market so far is the Samsung Galaxy s 2 there is really nothing bad about that phone my friend has it and he loves it so much (and he used to be an apple fanboy) iphones are terrible. There expensive, have a really small screen,you cant put a micro SD card in one (to make the memory bigger) and they are very easy to break...... go with android
