Ok me and my bf have been together for nine months. we were set up between our work colleagues...?

the thing is, I was not really interested, but everyone at work was egging me on to take it further and further, even though I didn't want to. with all the pressure, I allowed him to move in with me. in time, he has got increasingly lazy around the house, never doing much while I'm at work. when we go out socially, he puts me down when I'm trying to have fun, orders me to put my phone away, even though he has his phone out and is texting people!! everyone at work is heavily involved in our relationship ( even though I had asked him to keep it quiet for the first few weeks, he told everyone on facebook that we are in a relationship) and I know that if I break up with him, our work colleagues will be on my case. I'm fed up, dog tired and don't know what to do. the job market is not very good where I live. please help.

Christ! He's even moved in with you when you didn't really feel that interested? Wow, you're in deep o_o
Well if I were in your shoes I'd definitely toss him out, since a)You don't seem to particularly like him romantically b) He sounds a right jerk whos unappreciative of you and c)Does he actually like you romantically? I mean, reading that he sounds like he sort of takes advantage of you and just wants the free housing :o Is he romantic with you at all?
I know it must suck with everyone at work always talking about it and pressuring you, but I'd suggest kicking him out after having a serious talk to him about how his behaviour is not acceptable, then put up with all your co-workers being annoying :o It'll suck, but within a week or two they'll have all moved on to another topic to talk about, I'm sure Just ignore them and don't give them any information about what happened and they'll soon get bored and talk about someone else instead ^_^
If not then you'll be with that guy for a looooong time from the sound of it, and you'll be like one of them wives who does everything whilst the husband sits around watching TV all the time o_o
