Have some questions about Twitter?

OK, this is really a, "Is he cheating?" question.

So, I checked my bf's email today (as I do from time to time when I feel something may be going on behind my back), and sure enough there was an email about his Twitter account. The email stated that his ex was "Following" him. And the email was put in the trash,

I logged onto his Twitter and his ex was nowhere to be found in his profile. No messages, no following, no anything!

So, I guess my question is, did his ex try to contact him and he blocked it. Or is he just being sneaky?

I suppose that I'm worried because my bf has not logged onto his account since June, and the first day he logs on again he's getting an email about his Ex?! What's that about. Does that mean my bf contacted his ex or what?! So confused here. Why couldn't it have just been something I understand like myspace or facebook!

If you are that suspicious that you need to consistently hack into his email and stalk him online, I don't see why you are still putting effort into this relationship.

I can tell you that when someone follows you on twitter it's not because you contacted them. You can't invite someone to follow you.
