Which tablet should I get? Kindle Fire HD or Nexus 7?

I'm getting a tablet for Christmas but I don't know which tablet I should get.
I'm interested in games, social (facebook, twitter, ect.), writing, reading (wattpad, sara dessen, ect.), music, saving notes, and internet.
I would like to know like which one of these tablets have mostly free apps, fastest internet, space, ect. Please help

Nexus 7 - better andorid

Both tablets run on android so the apps are the same, they have the same size screen and roughly internet speed, and same space amounts. nexus 7 has a newer android (jelly bean) while kindle has ice cream sandwhich, the one before jellybean but those systems arent too different, but jelly bean is better and with the nexus 7 you can get the latest android version when its released but you cant do that with the kindle fire
overall they are pretty similar, i personally would DEFINATLY go with nexus 7 without a doubt
DO NOT GET AN IPAD, it isnt that great anyway, idk why people choose them over laptops for school

If u interested in games, social .... I strongly recommend u to get Nexus 7. Because Kindle Fire not good at those thing. I've been using it about 2 months. It's very difficult to use for social and games. ..
