What do you think about the rapid growth of social networking sites?
Are facebook, myspace, twitter, etc. taking away from personal relationships? Would people today rather type their conversations and emotions rather than say them?

Since the advent of the computer and video games people tend to go out less frequently. Maybe they think that they have a broader audience by checking out everyone they can find that's willing to expose themselves on these sites.
I imagine this is such a new phenomena that sociologist haven't even had time to analyze it. Up until a few months ago I didn't have time to get on sites like YA and FB. But now that I'm unemployed that seems to be the way I get out. Ads |
