Don't social welfare programs like Medicaid make people want to stay poor and live off the government?

I'm guessing you've never been on welfare, food stamps or medicaid, have you? You think all the poor people are just having a big lavish party at your expense, don't you? In fact, you seem jealous because you think they've got it so good. Why would anyone ever want to pull themselves up by their own bootstraps and make Mitt Romney's kind of money when the government will just GIVE them enough free money to barely survive, right?

This is the part where you remove your head from your sphincter. People like Romney NEED poor people in order to stay at the top of the food chain. That's why Republicans try to sh*t all over the poor, not because there's something inherently virtuous about economic Darwinism.

For people who claim so loudly to be followers of Jesus Christ, the American Republican party is ironically unChristian when it comes to its treatment of the poor. Why people buy the crap they're selling about the "free market" being the best thing since pepperoni pizza is beyond me. It's obvious what they're doing, and guess what? They're not doing it for you. They'd sell you out in a heartbeat to make another few bucks. Yet you mindlessly repeat their mantras about the evils of helping the poor, as if THAT were gospel; never mind that the man most of your worship as God in fact preached the complete opposite.
