How much data am i using on my phone?

- iphone 4

I'm wondering if using facebook, twitter, youtube is using data? ik this sounds stupid but i'm new to this

i'm on twitter (the app) on my phone alot! so would that be using data?

what about youtube? i use the youtube app on my phone too.

or does it just count as like safari.

do all (twitter, fb, youtube, etc) count as using data too even thought i am using the apps? or is it just safari? and if i leave the app running does that use data even if it's not up on the screen?

Yes all this uses data and can use it very quickly so id recomend anywhere you can use wifi because that doesnt count for data
