Few questions about Twitter?
I hve few questions about twitter:

1. Suppose I am following someone but he is NOT following me. His account is NOT a private account. My account is NOT a private one either. I'll get tweet updated from him. Now if I reply to any of his tweets, will he be able to see that reply in his homepage?

(e.g. I m following few celebs who aren't following me. Now I get tweet updates from them. Sometimes I reply to their tweets. Are they able to see the replies in their homepage?)

2. Will he be able to get tweet updates from me?

3. What if the meaning and purpose of the sign '#' in twitter?

4. What I hve to do if I want to retweet any msg to few of my followers but not 2 all of them?

5. Can anyone other than me delete the direct msg, from my inbox?

6. What is meaning of the feature 'list'?

If you are following someone but they are not following you, they will not see your replies to their messages.

People do not see the tweets of another person unless they are following them.

the # sign is used to identify trending topics, which are then displayed in the side bar across all twitter accounts and profile pages - you know, the list of words at the side with a # tag under them. For this to work, you must first follow 'hashtags' on twitter yourself.

Once you are following hashtags and they are following you back, you can use # tags in your twitter posts to link you post to others with the same keyword - you do this by writing the # tag next to the word, like:

#Elephants or #Michael Jackson

If you a search term is popular enough, it will display on everyone's home page as a trending topic.

When you re-tweet, your post goes to everyone who is following you.

Only you can access your direct messages, unless you give your log in detailsto someone else, which is a bad idea.

Lists are great! You can use lists to organise the people you are following into groups, so you can browse their latest tweets by topic. For example, I created a list called 'Friends' and a list called 'wordpress devs', which means I can click on that list to see all the posts from my friends or people talking about those topics. Using lists means you don't have to miss tweets from genuine people because of advertising materials and spam. It gives you away to organise your followers.

1 ) YES they can see them.
(That is if the check their @replies)

2 if he's following you

3 Hashtags!
It's nothing really. They are keywords or a way of making something trend.
All it really does is that it helps add tweets to a category

4 I don't you can.

5 No

6 List keeps the people you are following organized.
