How to delete a twitter account I made by mistake?

I made a twitter account and now I don't want it how to delete it?

Log in to twitter, go on settings (the little man next to the search bar) then it will automatically be on account settings then scroll right to the bottom and it will say 'deactivate my account' (:

Go to Twitter.Log in at the top right hand corner of the page.

Click on "Settings" ,also located in the top right hand corner.
This will take you to the Account Management section.

Scroll down to the bottom of that page. Click on the
"Delete my account." link located in the bottom left hand corner
under the "Save" button.

Click on the "Okay, fine, delete my account." button when you
are redirected to Twitter's 'Goodbye' page.
Your account is now deleted!
