No country is free, right...?
I know lots of Americans call themselves free but I've heard and know that if a country is truly free it would be in anarchy. Can someone give me an upfront explanation? (One thing I know is that America's gun laws are almost in anarchy and are to free).

We are free, but to an extent. Like we can move and live where ever we want. Have as many kids as we want. Work where we want. As long as we abide by the laws of the state and country, we are free.

Is it the privacy? Or drugs? Ability talk freely? Non of the above the us controlls and knows what you eat breath see and hear you buy something with your credit card they you told them what you just bought cam controll everywhere so they know where you are internet and electronic devices also lets them know where you are (facebook, twitter) etc etc so... Whats so free about that! Anw all i can say is gl mate

You're right, no country is truly free, they may enjoy certain freedoms but it is always at the cost of other freedoms. Americans like to say they are the most free in the world and love the idea of freedom because of their national history, but it's not really true.

That's what laws are for. Think of freedom as loads of children in a house after drinking 20 red bulls. They could get into knives, drink bleach, fall down the stairs etc. The laws are like a creche where they can sit and have their fun without harming themselves.

The USA is a free country in terms of rights its just not 100% free. It wont be until we stop discriminating against gays, muslims, deaf, etc.

@xpatinasia, try being a deaf muslim like me. Try being that for 1 month. You wont think America is free afterwards.
