How do you add text when you retweet on Twitter?

On Twitter, when I want to retweet something I hit the retweet button and it asks me if I want to retweet to my followers..but sometimes I see that people put their own text before something that they have retweeted. How can I do that?

Twitter's retweet button doesn't allow you to add text. However if you use a Twitter client, such as TweetDeck, you can click retweet and you'll be able to add text to the tweet before you post.
