How could I get someone to stop messaging me on Facebook?

My friend showed me this funny picture for texting which says "SMS ERROR 305: MESSAGE SENDIG FAILED FURTHER MESSAGES WILL BE CHARGED TO YOUR ACCOUNT" and I want something like that for Facebook. Have any suggestions? I know it's kind of mean but after telling this person to stop texting and messaging me, they won't take a hint even when I don't reply.

It's not a big deal, you just block them.

You can simply block the user

How do I block someone?

To block someone:

-Click at the top right of any Facebook page.
-Click How do I stop someone from bothering me?
-Enter the name or email address of the person you want to block and click Block.
-People will not be notified when you block them.

If you can’t find someone using this method, try going to the person’s timeline and selecting Report/Block This Person from the dropdown.
