How do I stream my desktop to my TV?
I bought a Dell XPS 8300 i5 2320 Win 7 64 bit last March and spent close to $1,700.00. Can you believe they sent it without a wireless network card, but best of all they sold me Netgear for an additional $200.00 and it didn't work (of course) how would it without an Intel wireless adapter card, which is what you need for Netgear...so I've been told by another sales rep. at Dell. I sent the Netgear hard ware back and was refunded.. I understand I can install an express pci wireless adapter card but I'm confused about what kind and also what product to purchase to stream my desktop along with the online video programs_Hulu, Netflix, Amazon and whatever. I want to achieve a wireless signal (no cords). I found a video on YouTube for this same model and found out it will only take a certain size adapter card because of the allotted space and to be safe also install a fan to avoid over heating. My question I guess is where is the best place to go to get the PC I wanted in the first place? I did not contact Dell because when the NetGear didn't work I called for help and it took them forever to realize my computer was sent without a wireless card. If interested here is a link to a YouTube video however not the one I found 6 months ago.

Any feedback would be appreciated

Thank you,
Bonnie

Hello Bonnie,

I am from Dell Social Media and Community.

You may buy a wireless adapter on your system and install it.
Please follow the link below to find the compatible wireless adapters for desktop systems.

Follow the link below to find the Service manual for your system, this gives you the instructions to install the PCIe card.
