Need opinions please! Is my best friend still in love with me?

I've known them both for 3 years, Jake and Ryan and we became likes the 3 musketeers. They were already friends before i came in the picture. I was ALWAYS with them and have so many good memories with them both. (Won't go into detail, i'm trying not to bore yall so much) They loved me and i loved them. Jake told me he loved me more than just a best friend but i dated Ryan instead......and have been for over a year. We have promise rings. I love him very much but i do love Jake also. I broke Jake's heart like a b***h i know. I didn't mean to but i wanted to be with Ryan more. We weren't exactly the same but we were still on pretty good terms. Jake still acted the same towards me and everyone still thought he had feelings for me. The whole time we were still the same. He would always say i didn't hurt him but when we would mess around he would throw in my face that i left him for Ryan and oh don't go there ms. "(however long it was at the time) relationship" and that i broke his heart, etc. He would occasionally mess around with girls but always came back to me and treated me different. It's been over a year since and now he has a girlfriend.........it was kinda at random. He acts like he doesn't care about her to other people honestly. My other friends see it too. The only time he acts like he does is on twitter and stuff because she's on there and sees it.. He tells people they aren't dating but the girl does say they are. His brother said that he said she just a piece of a**. At the dance recently he said i looked really great and seemed like he spent more time with me than her. I saw him watching my boyfriend and i dance and kiss out the corner of my eye. I thought i would have to be single because of something with Ryan but we figured something out. I was on the phone with Jake the whole day literally crying my eyes out about it at the time (Jake's always there for me) He thought i was single so he told me he loved me and i was like yeah not the same anymore though and he said that's what you think. He said he still kinda did feel the same way. Then after Ryan and i worked it out he is right back to his girlfriend and i feel sort of ditched. I asked him about her before i left his house and he said they're straight. he told i love you and i was like not like that anymore and he said because you dont love me like that. So why is he even dating her? I'm starting to feel how he did when i dated Ryan..should i? Does he still love me for this long or what he said mean he doesnt? even a year later? Or what? Help! You shouldn't feel like Jake did when you started Ryan. I think you should really try to focus on your own relationship. Getting mixed up other guys when you are dating one is not a good thing.
I know you feel hurt and rejected but you have a really amazing guy, you have Ryan right? Cherish that. It seems like Jake is just trying to get over you.
Try to think about this from his perspective: He is constantly reminded of how much he cared for you but he has to watch you and his best friend being together, all the time. It must hurt. He must still care for you. He wishes that you were with him rather than Ryan.
Just give him time. Tell him if he needs to talk about this girl he's with then you will always be there for him, but as his friend, Only his friend.
I'm afraid that if you try to help Jake too much, Ryan will become jealous and there will be a huge break in your "Three Musketeers"
Tread lightly and just let him come to you, don't try to solve his problems for him. And most of all: Be Happy.
