How to find justice from the person who's illegally posted your nude pictures on Facebook?
My ex recently (less than 6 hours ago) posted some of my nude pictures on his Facebook (without my consent & will, of course), just to get even by humiliating me. He's mad at me for dumping him. Long story short, I dumped him last year bcs he lied a lot (said he's 34 but I found out he's 54 - said he's single but actually married - said he doesn't have a child while he does). Plus, he keeps threatening me whenever he's in anger (although he'd never hit me).

He's in UK & I'm in Asia (long distance r/ship). I asked my friends to report the images & I myself emailed personally to Facebook. I hope the team will remove them asap. He laughed at me when I said I have rights to report it to the police by saying, "What, the police in your country will come to England & catch me?"

When I asked him nicely to delete the pix, he said that he would after I've paid sum amount of money (the time I wrote this, he hadn't mention the specific amount yet). Unfortunately, I don't have an audio recording as a proof. Guys, he often says stupid things when he's angry but then he'll say that he didn't mean it & took every word back.

What should I do? If I were to report it the police, how can he be convicted? Is there anything else I could do? Thanks in advance who helps.

Note: I'm a student, female, age middle 20's...
I understand my own fault, which happened years ago. Yes, I was a fool, but I've changed. The last thing I need now is people judging me. So please...

The pix were taken face to face, not via the Internet.

Convicted? Of what crime?

You got a hard lesson cheap here. Keep your porn to yourself, and move on.

Facebook will delete the photos and could possibly ban his account, but since he is in another country legal action will be extremely tough to pursue.

Lola, that is cyber sexual harassment. You should report to the police at once. Take him to court! That old bastard will surely get his punishment. Delete your fb account.

If you posed in the picture willingly and with consent, it sadly belongs to him, however if you decide to sue him, you have to prove how you suffered a kind of loss from it. Or you could sue him for harassment. However the results of suing may not be in or favour. Altough you should take action as his family should be warned of his unfaithful behaviour and other should not fall prey to his deceiving again. I advise that you never send pictures of yourself to strangers, especially those on the Internet.
