Why does he seem so into me NOW?

I had a crush on a guy senior year in high school. Spring break we started hooking up, he would tell me I was the best he ever had and I always thought this was his way of trying to get me to come back so I never took it too seriously, and this went on through the end of summer when I started dating my boyfriend. So after we started dating, andy would still text me trying to hook up and i told him I wasn't going to hang out with him anymore. Anyways he threw a fit tweeted some mean tweets, blocked me on twitter, I thought that would be then end. Then 2 weeks later I got a text from him asking to hang out and i declined. Ever since then, every two weeks i'm getting texts from him trying to hang out with me. I turn him down every time but he won't stop! It's been 6 months now since i've even SEEN him in person. Why is he so persistent and why won't he just leave me alone?!

He thinks that if he continues you will eventually give in and see him. He may be a bit obsessed with you which might not be a good thing. Block him as much as you can - unfriend him on FB and so on, so that it is more difficult for him to contact you. Tell him in no uncertain terms to stop contacting you, that you are totally not interested.
